Last night on Fox 5 - before you laugh, sometimes it is nice to be infotained - they went over the policy change at Wal*Mart and Macy’s where they are going to start to say Merry Christmas again this year. They had people call or email what they think about this.
The Wal*Mart guy said something like: “We learned from last year and we think Merry Christmas ties in with our promotions and efforts.”

Um, where to begin?

It is sad that the birth of the man who is viewed by over a billion people to be the savior of all mankind is a marketing gimmick for Wal*Mart and Macy’s. In fact this borders on being really offensive.

Lets put it another way: Could you imagine Moses or Mohamed being linked to a holiday in this way? No, it isn’t going to happen. Think about using Jesus to sell cars. Offended yet? You should be.

The reactions of the people who contacted Fox 5 were all over the place, as to be expected. But not a single one said what needs to be said: “Jesus is the reason for the season.” This is not a secular holiday. This is not an American Holiday. This is a 2000 year old celebration of the birth of, to some, The Moshiach, The Anointed One, Savior Mankind, Christ.

We win. America Wins. The World Wins. Thank G-d we finally showed the world we are not all idiots. Democrats are on the way back.

Now!!!! No blow jobs, keep the curruption down, and fight for America. The America we all want, open, free, equitable, Christian right wing bullshit free, and a better world citizen.

This is great from The Times:

One can only hope. Can you imagine a day when jobs come back to America? A day when you can actually shop without sending $$ to China? A day when we force them to raise the value of their commie currency, slowing our economy down and returning us to normal instead of this bloated Wal*Mart/Target binge we are on now.
The nightmare is almost over, I might just cry.

Yes! Please do. Why? Because only if we let them make this country the worst place to live in the world will their corrupt idiotic ideology be exposed for what it truly is.

• It simple isn’t enough that people are doubting the war. Why should they? Is isn’t like we were lied to.
• It isn’t enough the poster boy for rah-rah America was killed by his own butt-buddies marines.
• People are up in arms about a sniper video on CNN, well, war sucks, and it sucks to have your Wal*Mart trip interrupted by war. Oh wait, we are at war, did you forget?
• You get what you asked for. You want a nation full of hate? You voted away your jobs? You voted for war? Good, thank you, now cry at your sons’ graves and vote again. Vote! Vote! Until all your kids are dead.
• Even your own people are wondering: “Somehow our elected leaders were subverting international law and humanity by setting up secret prisons around the world, secretly kidnapping people, secretly holding them indefinitely, secretly not charging them with anything, secretly torturing them.” Hmm. It goes on and on.
• Listen to Lou Dobbs, he makes some good points.

I don’t need to go much more into this. It is real. And I love it! I love saying “I told you so!” Please, please, please keep the status quo, because it will be cool to see just how bad this can get. I want every one of you to have low paying jobs, no healthcare, dead children, mountains of debt, no education, and then maybe only then, will you realize you sold your soul, you sold your country to warmongers who helped bring Asian sweatshop living standards to the heartland.
